·PROGRAM OUTCOMES: – M.A. Urdu

After Completing Master of Art (M.A.) course,

  1. Prepares students for employment as teacher, academics, journalist and translators.
  • Knowledge about History of Urdu literature, critic and school of thoughts. Learning of essay writing.
  • Provides knowledge and skill required for research methodology in field of Urdu.
  • Knowledge about History of Urdu literature, critic and school of thoughts.
  • Knowledge about various kind of Urdu Poetry, Ghazal, Naat, Qasida, Marsia, Nazm, Masnavi and their poets and the techniques.
  • Obtaining more information about language and literature; encouraging creative writing and developing self-confidence.
  • They can apply critical frameworks to analyze the linguistic, cultural and historical background of texts written in Urdu.
