IQAC at Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce
The Quality Assurance Cell was established by the College on 11th July 2003 being initially named as Quality Improvement Cell (QIC) with the primary objective of quality enhancement, sustenance and innovation.
Later on the recommendations of NAAC, Bengaluru, it was rechristened as Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the responsibility of implementation of post-accreditation initiatives added.
Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC becomes a part of the college system and works towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance.
The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions. For this, during the post-accreditation period, it has channelized all efforts and measures of the college towards promoting its holistic academic excellence.
