LIBRARY FACILITIES
The following facilities have been extended by the college library to support the teaching, learning and research needs of all the stakeholders.
Home Lending/Circulation: There are separate circulation counters for staff and students. The circulation counter timings are from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. 4.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and on Saturday 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The home lending period is as follows.

Books issued by staff and students will be intimated through the auto-generated email regarding library dues, check-out, and check-in.
Reference Service: In order to convert potential users into habitual users, it is essential to establish the desired kind of contact between the users and documents. The library staff including Librarian and Assistant Librarian helps the users to get the right kind of documents and information in print and electronic format at the right time.
Departmental Libraries: Apart from Central Library, the Departmental Libraries are also formed for teaching departments to meet the requirements for quick reference to books and journals by the faculty members and the students.
Current Awareness Service (CAS) and Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI): CAS is an information system where information related to current updates and recent developments in the respective subject and field of interest disseminated to users. The automation software available in the library is capable of sending auto-generated email to staff and students about the new acquisitions related to their field of interest. To avail this facility the staff and students are expected to set their CAS profile by logging in to the college website. SDI is a type of current awareness service meant to give the personalized, pinpointed and exhaustive information service can be provided to the users. The college on its website has given an option ‘Ask a Librarian’ in case of any particular information required online.
Bibliographic Service: The list comprising of bibliographic details of a book like author, title, publisher, year of publication, etc. of a book and other reading material is provided to the staff and students on request.
Inter-Library Loan: It’s an interlibrary service where transaction between two consented libraries lends reading material to each other on a short-term basis to cater to the additional needs of its users.

Library Membership: Apart from our own resources and borrowing books under interlibrary, we have also taken subscription based membership of following mention libraries;
1 . Savitribai Phule Pune University.
2 . British Council Library
Internet Facility: By default, all the computers available in the library are on LAC and Internet-connected. Additionally, 24MB per day free data from ‘Reliance Jio’ through Wi-Fi is allotted to the students visiting in the library for reading purpose.
Book Bank Scheme: Under this scheme, a set of four to six textbooks are given to the economically weaker students for an entire year to support them in their studies and to reduce their financial burden.
Photocopy Facility:The photocopy service is offered to the students and staff of the college in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright Act. The photocopy charge per A4 size paper is Rs.1/- (rupees one only).
Magazines and Newspapers: The library subscribes 13 Magazines and 23 Newspapers which should be read in the reading room only.
